The Anywave AW9300/AW9300E ATSC 3.0 Encoders / Signaling Servers integrate a robust encoding system in a flexible architecture that encapsulates and sends ROUTE / MMTP. With the addition of Anywave’s new ATSC 3.0 Exciter and ATSC 3.0 Gateway, these powerful platforms provide a complete ATSC 3.0 solution to meet all of the Broadcaster’s NextgenTV needs. With options on the exciter and gateway for built-in tuners and MUX add/drop capability, this platform is the perfect solution for lighthouse arrangements with LPTV and Translators. The Anywave AW9300 Encoder+ Series provides a professional grade ATSC 3.0 / MPEG-2 TS encoder that encodes UHD1 (2160p) video as well as multiple HD/FHD videos with TS, ROUTE or MMTP streams or DASH/MPU output. These encoders also encode MPEG-2, AVC and HEVC (SD, HD and UHD @60P) video and Dolby Digital, Dolby AC-4 and MPEG-H audio.

D-Series Encoders (D4 and D12)

The Anywave D-series MPEG-2/H.264 HD/SD Encoders are professional audio & video encoding platforms with powerful functionality. The D-series Encoders come equipped  with either 4 HD-SDI or CVBS inputs (D4 version) or 12 HD-SDI inputs (D12 version), supporting MPEG-2 and H.264 video encoding and MPEG-1 Audio layer 2, LC-AAC and HE-AAC audio encoding. The encoded programs will output through ASI and IP ports in MPTS or SPTS.

Capabilities of the D-Series Encoder include:

  • Supports up to 12 HD-SDI inputs with MPEG2 & MPEG4 AVC/H.264 Encoding
  • MPEG1 Layer II, MPEG2-AAC, MPEG4-AAC, Dolby Digital AC3 (2.0) encoding, AC3 (2.0/5.1) pass through
  • Supports up to 12 channel CC (close caption) inputs, EIA608/EIA708
  • Supports up to 32 IP inputs (DATA1 port) over UDP and RTP
  • Supports 1MPTS and up to 12 SPTS IP (DATA2 and DATA3 ports) outputs over UDP, RTP/RTSP
  • Supports ASI output as a mirror of MPTS (optional)

Stream Processing

The Anywave Multi-Stream Processor is a Swiss Army Knife for DTV transmission.  We are prepared for most DTV headend requirements.
